Support
Gifts from bird lovers, conservationists, and educators like you allow us to fulfill our mission to ignite a passion for raptors and a responsibility for our shared natural world.
Over 10,000 birds of prey have been rehabilitated at our Raptor Hospital and released back into the wild since the first Broad-winged Hawk was brought to UNC Charlotte ornithologist Richard Brown in 1975. Our 30+ avian ambassadors on the Raptor Trail inspire generations of students of all ages to build an interest in animal welfare, the environment, and STEM education.
Your gift helps us provide medical care to injured raptors, ensuring the greater Charlotte region has a healthy ecosystem with osprey, owls, vultures, hawks, and eagles.
Your gift enables students from Title 1 schools to have nose-to-beak experiences with an Andean Condor, King Vulture, and Red-legged Seriema on our ¾ mile Raptor Trail.
Your gift allows our experienced staff to live out their passions for lives of purpose while working with these amazing birds of prey.
Your gift makes a difference!
