Group Volunteering


Group volunteer projects are a vital component to the operations of Carolina Raptor Center. Whether you are looking for a team building opportunity or simply seeking to make a difference, group projects help support our mission of raptor rehabilitation, education, and conservation.

Group Projects


We offer several options for group volunteer projects. Project fees cover the cost of CRC staff, tools, and materials required. Please Note: Group volunteer projects do NOT have direct interaction or handling of birds.

Level 1: $500

Projects last 1-3 hours. Ideal group size is 10-20 people.

Typical projects include: invasive species removal, trail beautification, and minor maintenance tasks.

Level 1 Perks: Free access to the Raptor Trail following the project.

Level 2: $1,000

Projects last 2-3 hours. Ideal group size is 10-20 people.

Typical projects include: landscaping, facility clean-up, and demolition.

Level 2 Perks: Perks from Level 1, plus recognition on the Carolina Raptor Center's social media.

Level 3: $2,500

Projects last 2-3 hours. Ideal group size is 10-20 people.

Typical projects include: enclosure maintenance, trail resurfacing, and building upgrades.

Level 3 Perks: Perks from Levels 1 and 2, plus a private avian ambassador encounter following the project.

Level 4: $5,000

Projects may be broken into 1-3 days of 2-3 hour sessions. Flexible group size.

Typical projects include: enclosure builds or rebuilds.

Level 4 Perks: Perks from Levels 1, 2 and 3, plus a 45-minute private program at CRC or your organization's facility (restrictions apply).

For fellow nonprofits, we offer group projects with a reduced fee of $100 to help offset the cost of tools and materials.

We will get in contact with you to coordinate dates and project details.

Confirm

Once details are finalized, we will invoice you for the project fee to confirm your project.
