International vulture awareness day

Join us on Saturday, September 6 for a celebration of nature's clean-up crew: vultures!

This family friendly event features unique programs, shows, and activities to help visitors of all ages fall in love with vultures. Learn what makes these birds special and meet our ambassador vultures at this one-of-a-kind event.

Bald is beautiful and bald is free! Anyone bald gets FREE admission.

Event Schedule:

• 11:00 AM - Meet a Raptor: Learn what makes raptors unique in this seated educational program with an avian ambassador.
• 1:00 PM - Fly-By: Feel the wind in your hair as an avian ambassador shows off what they do best: fly!
• 2:30 PM - Keeper Chat: Learn about Igor, the Black Vulture who lives on the Raptor Trail.

All programs and activities are included with admission.
