Carolina Raptor Center presents all kinds of formal education programs including programs at schools and libraries, programs onsite for classes and groups, and programs at offsite events, like festivals and fairs. Take a look below to find the program for you and your group. School Programs Let our environmental educators engage your group through our onsite and traveling education programs! Our programs last an average of 45-60 minutes. At your school or organization, students will meet birds on the glove as an educator talks about topics such as ecosystems, human/environmental impacts, pollutants and bioaccumulation, and basic natural history of our raptors. For programs onsite at Carolina Raptor Center, students meet birds on the glove and visit one of the aviaries on our raptor trail; onsite programs include the cost of admission, so students and teachers are free to walk the trail after the program to meet over 25 species of raptors! Offsite Events Offsite events are geared towards businesses, fairs, and festivals and include an exhibit table with raptor props, information about our center, and birds on perches; attendees walk by the table, explore the props, and are free to ask questions, but there is no formal presentation involved. These events last 2-4 hours. For more information and pricing, visit the Offsite Events page. Kids for Conservation Day Camps Hang with the raptors at Kids for Conservation Day Camp!
