Additional Details:
- Camp dues include a T-shirt (that campers will tie-dye) and a reusable water bottle.
- Campers will bring their own lunch and afternoon snack, and should arrive having eaten breakfast.
Drop-off starts at 8:30 am and camp starts promptly at 9:00 am
Pick-up starts at 4:00 pm and ends promptly at 4:30 pm
2023 SUMMER DAY CAMPS
RAPTOR ROOKIES
Is your child new to the raptor game? This camp is for the young raptor novice who wants to dive into the world of raptors and birds of prey. Your camper will get to meet all the different types of raptors our center has to offer and participate in outdoor activities. Each day will focus on a different type of raptor, their awesome adaptations, and what we can do to help them out in the wild!
YOUNG VETERINARIAN’S CAMP
Is your child an aspiring young veterinarian or someone who wants to work with animals? Throughout this camp your camper will learn all about avian medicine and have sessions with one of our staff vet techs. With raptor encounters, hands-on activities and lessons live from our raptor hospital, campers will get a great sense of environmental awareness and a greater respect for the natural world around them!
Nature Games
Does your child enjoy playing games? Do they have a curiosity for the natural world around them? From video games to schoolyard playgrounds, games are a large part of childhood. This camp will utilize a variety of nature themed games to help develop meaningful connections to the wonders of the natural world. Campers will also get a chance to meet charismatic avian ambassadors and spend time exploring Latta Nature Preserve!

Camps fill up quickly, so please register soon. Refunds will not be given after June 1 so please plan accordingly.
