RESCUE TIPS
If you find a bird in danger and need to act:
- Protect yourself by wearing heavy gloves and safety glasses.
- Throw a towel or blanket over the bird to reduce its visual stimulation.
- Place the bird into a transport container and remove the towel.
- Do not feed the bird.
- Place the bird in a quiet, dark environment.
- Bring the bird as soon as possible to the nearest raptor rehabilitator.
