Ways of Giving to Carolina Raptor Center

Donor Highlight

Toy Money Multiplied

Six-year old Owen Brannon lives in Atlanta, GA. When he comes to Charlotte, he enjoys going to visit the birds at CRC and to see where his grandmother volunteers.

This fall, Owen sold some of his toys at a consignment sale. He and his mother decided that it would be nice to donate a portion of his earnings to charity. Owen chose to donate to "the place where Nona volunteers,"  Carolina Raptor Center. After viewing the donation choices on the website, he decided that he wanted to give $6.00 to help build a new flight cage. His mother matched his $6.00 so together they donated $12.00. His generous behavior has motivated his grandmother and several other people to match that donation, which all have been matched by the Knight Foundation. Owen is amazed at how his $6.00 has grown to more than $100, the equivalent to four awesome Lego sets!

All birds of prey admitted to Carolina Raptor Center receive the highest quality of care for their needs. We spend over $500 on the average patient.
