Carolina Raptor Center offers formal education programs to fit the needs of many types of groups. Formal education programs are geared toward schools, day cares, camps, and other education facilities but can be adapted for other types of groups and feature multiple animal ambassadors presented in a structured program format. Formal Education Program Offerings

Tiny Talon Tales
Grades Pre-K and Kindergarten
Audience size: Up to 60/program (including adults)
Length: 30-45 min.

Let your students’ imaginations soar! Children will spread their wings as they listen to stories of raptors and see them come alive. Meet 2 feathered friends, hear a raptor-themed book, and explore a touch table full of feathers and fur.

Birds have captured the imagination of humans for thousands of years. You see this in art, science, and culture throughout the world. Carolina Raptor Center seeks to connect to students through formal education programs that inspire them to delve deeper into topics as diverse as natural history, the physics of flight, migration patterns, ecology, mythology, conservation, food webs and much more.
