Help Rescue

The success of Carolina Raptor Center's raptor rescue programs depends heavily on the support of
volunteers and donors. Dedicated rehabilitation volunteers pick up injured raptors all over the
Carolinas and transport them to Carolina Raptor Center's rehabilitation facility. Weekly volunteers
care for newly admitted patients, dispensing medications and weighing food rations. Other
volunteers care for all permanent resident birds- making sure aviaries are clean and safe, feeding
birds daily, and weighing birds to monitor a healthy weight. Local veterinarians provide emergency
surgery and diagnostic equipment, and provide a source for medications and medical supplies.
Want to help? Attend an upcoming volunteer orientation to become a rescue volunteer, or donate an
item on the rescue wish list. With your help Carolina Raptor Center can rescue and release even
more raptors!
